Navajo Pottery : Simple Bowl- Pot #12

Hand coiled and crafted this is a simple traditional Navajo bowl. The random gray and black markings on this piece of pottery is a fire cloud caused by the burning fuel during firing. The potter worked in the traditional methods of coiling natural clay and used tree sap for the exterior shine.   Raised rope edging.
