This vibrant Navajo Half Dress panel is from the 1890-1900s. It is in all original condition with side ties evident. It was woven with both 4 ply Germantown yarn and raveled American flannel (Red), Blue is Germantown and the brown is natural handspun. It is well woven.

This Late Classic Navajo Dress Panel is about 150 years old. It is a wonderful glimpse into Native American history.
The dark red is cochineal dyed bayetta and the lighter red is American flannel. The deep blue is indigo.
The black/brown center is naturally dark wool with sumac to make it a deep color.
