At 42" x 60", this handwoven piece captures the essence of the Burntwater style with its intricate geometric patterns and beautifully balanced color transitions. Every inch reflects Bia's mastery—from the hand-dyed, custom-spun Churro wool to the flawless tension and precise execution. The rich, sophisticated palette and unwavering attention to detail make this an heirloom-quality textile that speaks to both collectors and those who deeply value authentic Navajo artistry.

• Style

Burntwater

• Weaver

Elsie Bia

• Date

2026

• Size

50" x 72" (4'2" x 6')

• Item #

Churro 1789

Awards:

Contact us for more information at nizhoniranch@gmail.com or 520-455-5020 -- We will be glad to help you!

Nizhoni Ranch Gallery donates a portion of each sale to the Forever Navajo Foundation. Forever Navajo's primary purpose is to preserve the fine art of Navajo weaving.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1207/9128/files/churro-1789-elsie-bia-burntwater-navajo-rug_873dc9fb-ba02-43d4-ab79-57a44b0035b4.jpg?v=1769808131
burntwater-navajo-weaving-raymond-curley-ac-20-28-x-38
Burntwater : Three Turkey Ruin : Navajo Weaving : Raymond Curley : AC-20 : 28" x 38" (2'4" x 3'2")

Burntwater -
