Navajo Shawl : Julia Upshaw : Churro 1550
Julia Upshaw Master Navajo Weaver.
This shawl was woven from finely spun Churro wool, woven like a blanket. Aniline and natural vegetal dyes, the grey is logwood.
This will fit nicely over your shoulders or displayed in your home. We have shown it as a table runner....
Ideal shawl proportions, this can easily be draped as a display when not being worn. It would look wonderful draped over the end of your bed or over the sofa.
Another beautiful and dramatic example of wearable art!
