side cords.  This exquisite weaving was extremely finely woven with Germantown yarn .   The deep red a classic trademark of the Ganado area.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eSteve saw a 2nd one-- the match to this one, but was unable to buy it.  So the twin is out there area (1878)  of the Navajo Reservation.  This became known as The Hubbell Trading Post.  Many artists came to visit to paint the Navajo and they also painted the rugs and blankets.  These small watercolor and oil paintings are still on a wall of the National Historic site and have influenced thousands of weavings over the years.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eNotice
