Red Mesa Navajo Weaving : Historic : GHT 2198

Product Description

In the late 1800s the move from weaving blankets to be worn transitioned into weaving rugs for floors. The introduction of a new and exciting palette of commercial dyes and pre-dyed yarn set up an opportunity for new expressions in weaving.

The finished product is dramatic and shows the weaver's incredible talent while transitioning from color to color.
