Contemporary weaver Wil Begaye has created a beautiful Moki weaving - recognized by the handsome dark blue and black striped background, red diamonds, and beautiful spiderwoman crosses. When folded over and wrapped around you, the designs would meet at the edges as if joined together.
Moki weavings are very distinctive in the Hubbell Trading Post/Chinle area. This weaving is very likely to be one of a pair which was hung over an entry to a Hogan which Hubbell specialized in. Outstanding design and very well woven.
