Twill Diamond Pattern Navajo Weaving : Sarah Thompson : 1849
Twill patterns are often used for saddle blankets because there is more wool per area than on traditional patterns. It's a difficult style to learn and takes many years to master it. This weaving is too small to be a saddle blanket - perfect for table top or a small throw rug.
