This is a handsome example of a Navajo weaving from the Crystal Trading Post region of the Navajo Reservation. With the exception of the vibrant red dyes, this piece was woven using gorgeous naturally colored wool. The artist who carded and spun this wool blended the colors expertly. Woven in the early 1900s this piece was brought to life months after the all natural native Churro wool had been hand-sheared, hand-carded, and hand-spun.
