Pictorial - Navajo Daily Life Weaving : Pauline Glasses : 1345

Pictorial weavings often depict scenes from everyday life, or times past.  In this scene we see mountains at the top.  Horses and sheep have been vital to the survival of the Navajo.  The wagons tell us this is a scene from around the 1800s.  There is much activity in this scene. When you look at it, what scene is playing out in your mind?

The weaver is from the Many Farms area of the Navajo Reservation.
