Twill - Diamond Pattern Navajo Weaving : Rosita Brown : 1972
Twill patterns are often used for saddle blankets because there is more wool per area than on traditional patterns. It's a difficult style to learn and takes many years to master it.
Rosita Brown is the talent that created this beautiful red, black, and white Diamond Twill. It measures 13' x 21.5" and would be too small to be used as a saddle blanket. However, it works very well as a wall hanging or small area rug. This piece is very affordable.
