This weaving talked to Louise for 6 months on the loom. Louise is the daughter of famous Master Weaver Suzie Bia and her aunt was Master Weaver Della Woody. You may recognize Louise's name as she specializes in miniature pieces.
It has been 20 years since Steve has seen a Yei Be Che like this. It is a spectacular example of Weaving. This piece is filled with symbolism, and Steve would be happy to share it with you.
Did you know that Navajo weavings are reversible? The image is woven "through" the piece so that it is visible on both sides.
