Tree Of Life Navajo Weaving : Wenora Joe : 3024

Some weavers are drawn to create beautiful works of art in a particular style.   Weaver Wenora Joe brings Tree of Life to life with her gift from Spider Woman.

As with all traditional Tree of Life weavings, a stalk of corn is emerging from a sacred wedding basket, as the Navajo Tree of life. Birds of all colors adorn the sky and the corn, coming and going, bringing messages from, and taking messages to the gods.
