Evelyn Joe is an accomplished Navajo Fiber Artist from the Cove area in NE Arizona. She is part of a well known family of Germantown weavers, which includes James Joe, Priscilla Warren, Nellie Dean, Lenora Joe, and Betty Joe.
Evelyn created this handsome 3rd Phase Chief style weaving using Moki style crosses over a traditional field of indigo, black and white stripes.
