In the past 11 years, weavers we have been honored to represent Best of Textile 10 out of 11 years, Best of Show 5 out of 11 years. BEST OF SHOW for this judged competition is an extremely high tribute to the art and artist chosen. The winners of each medium of art are then judged against each other – paintings, sculptor, jewelry, carving, photographs, etc.for the BEST OF SHOW AWARD. This is the FOURTH time the Nez family has won the Best of Show Award !!
This gorgeous piece measures 4'9"x 9'3" and is filled with a soothing combination of complimentary colors made from hand spun Navajo Churro wool and custom dyed with the finest natural and aniline dyes. It is extremely tightly woven. We have beautiful photos of Cecilia weaving this and with the finished piece. This weaving is from our exclusive Churro Collection.
