Germantown Navajo Weaving : JB Moore : Historic : PC 66
What an outstanding weaving !! It is made with Germantown yarn with a salt & pepper grey. It was commissioned by J.B. Moore and is very rare, since these textiles were rarely done in Germantown yarn. PLATE XIX
This weaving was part of an Exhibition showing at the Tucson Desert Art Museum January 4 2017 to April 30 2017. Please look at the Dazzled Eye catalog on page 20 to find this weaving. In the photo below Steve is doing a final check of the placement of the Navajo rugs before the exhibit opening.
PC 66 was also part of the Woven Nation exhibit at Tubac Center of the Arts.
