SOLD Crystal JB Moore Variant Plate XI : Historic : GHT 2134

Here we have a very handsome JB Moore variant of his 1903 Plate XI. This piece was woven about the same time, and had JB Moore sold it, the cost would have been around $10.50 according to his price sheet.

JB Moore would provide the design ideas, and weavers would interpret them in their own way.  In this case, the weaver chose to add two birds and belted diamonds to the central pattern. With their little top knots, these may be the little Gambel's Quail which are so common in the desert Southwest.

This is a very special piece.
