Transitional Navajo Weaving : Historic : GHT 2209

The depth and dimension of the natural hand-spun Merino wool are so rich in this piece.  We found this piece in Steve's private collection and are now offering it for purchase.

Look at the fluidity and movement the artist of this piece used when creating the "lazy" or sectional lines.  They add another layer of beauty to this piece. They have been incorporated so well, that they're barely noticed and yet create minute changes in the background of the piece, you're drawn in. The colors variations in the wool are gorgeous. It's easy to see why Steve stored this one away!
