Crystal JB Moore Plate III and XIX Variant Navajo Weaving : Historic : GHT 1941

This early Crystal piece was influenced by JB Moore's catalogs of weaving.  Using elements from two of the plates - III and XIX (seen in the images) the weaver created this handsome piece of art!

It was not uncommon for weavers to do this and create pieces that retained the weaver's individuality and yet could be sold in the market.  This weaver created a higher quality piece by using great wool and finely weaving the piece.
