Crystal / Storm Pattern Navajo Weaving : Historic : GHT 699

The quiet simplicity in the early Crystal weavings is hard to beat. This is an early Storm pattern weaving.  The red is bright and vibrant, and the light gray/brown background is so gorgeous. You can see how the weaver used the stepped pattern all throughout this design - from the double border to the ends of the white lightning bolts, and even to the central design.  All which come to focus on a single black and white valero star in the middle.

This piece is excellent - in condition, in color, and in quality.
