Cecelia's gift for weaving spectacular pieces is evident. She has an amazing eye for art, color, and design. This piece was woven using Native Churro wool. It is an exceptional one-of-a-kind piece of art.
Cecelia says, “My favorite designs are Teec Nos Pos. I really enjoy my work. It is interesting and thrilling for me to see the colors and designs come together when I am weaving. The most inspirational part is seeing the finished weaving. All of the hours, days and weeks of working so closely with the wool and then to stand back and see the artistic impression of the finished weaving is, well it is hard to put it into words. This is a very long conversation that not only comes from my fingers, but also from heart. The colors and designs work their way through the weaving with me and in the end, speak to me as one.”
