Saddle Blanket - Navajo Twill Double : Historic : GHT 2204

Here we have a gorgeous double saddle blanket woven in the 1880s and it's amazing - in condition, color, and quality!

Woven with hand-spun Merino Wool, this handsome piece features great color - indigo blue and green, and that red!  Woo hoo! The artist used a Twill style of weaving to add even more thickness. This piece would have been folded in half under the saddle to provide added comfort between the saddle and the horse.
