This one has great art. It is extremely well woven with Lincoln wool, with a slight caveat, the rug itself is square, but the pictorial element is slightly wonky. The weaver was weaving under primitive conditions, maybe on a slight incline. so her design looked straight to her. We'll never know.

Crystal Navajo rug. This lovely weaving is from the 1920 and has a unique Arts & Crafts style. The change up of the red coloring is original to the piece and woven this way intentionally. We can only guess at the reasons. It may have been an intentional change so as the weaving would not be perfect.

Teec Nos Pos Single Navajo Saddle Blanket. Currently on loan to the Booth Museum in Cartersville GA. Woven for a Navajo saddle to be used as a saddle throw, adorning the top of the saddle for extra padding and show. The designs in this piece tell us it's from the Teec Nos Pos area of the reservation.
This fancy single saddle was woven using native wool and was might have been created for a saddle throw that was used over the saddle, not under it. It has an extremely unusual rounded woven back and S curves, both uncommon and hard to weave.
