Das Sturmmuster ist nicht um einen zentralen Diamanten herum aufgebaut, sondern eine sehr erkennbare geometrische Komposition mit einem starken, oft rechteckigen zentralen Element, das durch diagonale Stufenlinien mit Elementen in jeder der vier Ecken verbunden ist. Dieses Design soll sehr symbolisch sein und mit den wichtigsten Regenstürmen in der Vegetationsperiode verbunden sein. Zu den einzelnen Komponenten gehören Darstellungen der vier heiligen Berge der Navajos, Blitze, Schneeflocken und Wasserwanzen. Storm Pattern Teppiche werden in einer unbegrenzten Farbvielfalt gewebt.
