About this weaving

This stunning Teec Nos Pos weaving showcases the remarkable talent of Master Weaver Marian Nez, whose award-winning career has established her as a respected voice in contemporary Navajo weaving. The 6' x 10' piece demonstrates the skill and vision that have earned her numerous accolades throughout her artistic journey. Featured in "The Getzwiller Collection of Contemporary Navajo Weavings 1975 - 2000" at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona, this work represents an important early selection from our exclusive Churro Collection. Sourced directly from Gail and Steve's private holdings, this exceptional rug offers collectors an authentic opportunity to own a significant work from one of the Southwest's most accomplished weavers.
