Product Description

Two Grey Hills Navajo Rug.  Emma Benally comes from a long line of gifted weavers.  Her specialty is the Two Grey Hills style which uses all hand-carded, and hand-spun natural wool  Dyes are not used. By carding different colors together she is able to create lovely tones of brown and gray.  

This weaving was part of the Timeless Treasures of Two Grey Hills Exhibit and catalog, page 33.

To appreciate all of the time and work that goes into a piece of woven art that has been hand-carded and hand spun.  When done by hand, the preparation of the wool can take months before it ever touches the loom.
