This one has great art. It is extremely well woven with Lincoln wool, with a slight caveat, the rug itself is square, but the pictorial element is slightly wonky. The weaver was weaving under primitive conditions, maybe on a slight incline. so her design looked straight to her. We'll never know.

Wonderful repeating pattern with spent arrows. The four sided border was encouraged by Navajo traders as a design choice to be marketed to the eastern market.

Crystal Navajo rug. This lovely weaving is from the 1920 and has a unique Arts & Crafts style. The change up of the red coloring is original to the piece and woven this way intentionally. We can only guess at the reasons. It may have been an intentional change so as the weaving would not be perfect.
