The one large Yei surrounding the inner 6 figures is the Rainbow Yei.  The inner Yei figures are female (because of their square heads) and are holding feathers, the rainbow Yei is holding rain chains.  Rainbows are a symbol of all good things and happiness to the Navajo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe original Ceremonial Yei Sandpainting Drawings were done with colored sand by the Navajo
