Though the letter is not signed or dated, but the letter head states R. E. Sloan (b. 1886 d. 1948) was president of the Mercantile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e4 Navajo sisters from the 4 corners area are said to be the weavers. It's obvious they shared the wool as all panels have some of each color.
